Intro to Editing

The Prismic Page Builder is our full-featured page editor. When you create a page or select one in the page screen, you open the Page Builder.

You can directly edit fields in the Page Builder, click Save to save your changes, and click Publish to publish your changes.

Tabs

Your pages might include multiple tabs to help organize fields. Administrators can set up tabs to group related content clearly. Use the tabs at the top of the editor to switch between sections.

Slices

Slices are modular sections you can use to build your page layout.

Adding slices

On the left sidebar, you’ll see your Slice Library. To add a slice, click the + button next to the slice you want to insert. The slice will appear in your page content area.

Reordering slices

In the content area, each slice has controls. Use the Move Up or Move Down buttons to change the order of slices.

Slice options

Each slice has a settings menu where you can:

• Change the variation
• Copy the slice
• Paste a copied slice
• Move it up or down
• Delete it

Adding more slices

You can always click the + Add Slice button between sections to insert additional slices wherever you need them.
